The
“Internationaler Entomologischer Verein” (IEV)
The
“International Entomological Society” (Internationaler Entomologischer
Verein, IEV) [founded in 1884] is an alliance of entomologists (professionals
as well as amateurs) of all fields with the target to encourage the entomology
on a supraregional scale. There is no competition to other entomological
Societies.
The
I.E.V.
promotes entomologists and teamwork being conducive to science.
At
present the I.E.V. promotes the following work groups:

of articles dealing exclusively with applied entomology and biochemistry]

in excursions, mainly to Africa, for example: 1994 Morocco, 1995 Cape Verde
Island, 1996 Senegal, 1997 Guiné Bissau, 1998 Madagascar, 1999 North
of Senegal; 2001 Tanzania.
